I take my hat off to today’s couple Kim & Gareth for their impressive diy efforts. Not only did they create some spectacular homemade favours and signage, but they really thought outside the box when it came saving money (from electrical wheels to bargain chairs and tables!). The result is a beautiful kid friendly wedding (in love with their little man Mason and his matching bowtie to go with his dad Gareth’s suit, so cute!), that was all about family, friends, and ‘stuff they like’. Brad & Claudia from THE WOODS PHOTOGRAPHY captured the whole day perfectly (including a breathtaking Nelson night sky), you guys seriously are the cat’s pyjamas.
ENTERTAINMENT - There will be quality hand-crafted and GIANT games from GK Events Hire Ltd at the NZ Cider Festival! So much fun <3
Avid Cider drinkers, Kim & Gareth not only create these games themselves but also have a passion for cider and even brewed their own old English cider for their wedding!
GK Events are an amazing supporter of our Artemis Mums Meet Mums event, with a huge selection of games and styling pieces at the event for you to experience in person. They've been incredible to work with, we couldn't recommend them more!

Kim and Gareth held one of our favourite weddings ever at Lancewood Villa near Nelson. It was super relaxed and packed full of fun. They made the best range of backyard games ever (including Corn Hole which you should probably go and play right now!), had delicious food carts for dinner, homebrewed most of the bar, and had some of the happiest guests we have had the pleasure to photograph. If we reimagined our wedding day, I think it would turn out a lot like this!
